Enhance your decor with an Ancient Greek Amphora, a captivating vase with colors that have deteriorated over centuries, as if it had been resting on the bottom of the sea. This Archaic period amphora, dating back to the 6th century BC, is a stunning piece of history and art.

The first side of the amphora depicts the battle of Theseus and the Minotaur, one of the most tragic and fascinating myths of Greek Mythology. Theseus, a legendary Greek hero, and the Minotaur, a terrifying monster, are the main protagonists of this myth, which involves gods, monsters, heroes, and kings, as well as two of the most influential city-states in the Hellenic world: Athens and Crete.

The second side of the amphora showcases the goddess Hera and her son, Prometheus. Prometheus stands beside the trapped goddess Hera, who has been cursed and placed on a throne by her son, Hephaestus.

This amphora, measuring 36cm (14in) in height and weighing 2.1 kgr (4.64lbr), is a remarkable piece of craftsmanship. Handmade and hand-painted from start to finish, it is recommended for decorative purposes only and should not be used to hold liquids.

We take great care in packaging our vases to ensure their safe delivery. If you have any questions or concerns before or after your order, please don't hesitate to contact us. This beautiful amphora makes an excellent gift for any season or occasion, adding a touch of ancient Greek elegance and history to your decor.
